This Saturday, May 21, we’re partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati, specifically, the Boys and Girls Club of Covington, for a day of friendly competition and fun with kids ages 6-12. This annual event will take you back to your glory days with field day-type games including tag, relay races, team-building challenges and more! This event will be held rain or shine – if it rains, we’ll bring the fun indoors! Volunteers should arrive for a light breakfast and registration between 9:30 and 10:00. The kids will arrive at 10:00- we'll kick off the fun around 10:15 or whenever all the kids have arrived!  We will have a snack break in the middle of the activities, and will provide lunch after the activities, which will wrap up around 1:00 - 1:30. Lunch will be sandwiches from Jimmy Johns. There will be vegetarian options. Volunteers should wear something casual that they can run and move in and that they don't mind getting dirty.  Volunteers will sign up for the job that they want to do for the day when they arrive on Saturday morning. After the games have concluded, the adults will retreat to Molly Malone's to continue the fun. The first drink's on us! The Boys and Girls Club of Covington branch is located at 30 West 36th Street, Covington, KY. Parking is available at Holmes High School and the surrounding residential areas. Signs will be posted on the day of the event and people will be helping to direct you where to park.
