Did you know there are over 12,000 refugees living and working in Greater Cincinnati and hundreds more arriving each year? Who are they? What are the challenges they face? How can you help? Come hear the answers first hand! This event is a chance to increase your cultural competence, enjoy food from refugee-owned businesses, and directly support Cincinnati’s refugee population. We'll be hosting a panel discussion from 10am - 12pm. We'll follow this up with a choose your-own-adventure... stay to sort donations for local refugees, or head directly to Yat Ka Mein, a refugee-owned business on Madison Road, to continue the conversation over lunch with a few of the panelists. Those that choose to stay and sort donations will join the after party at Yat Ka Mein at 1pm! This event will take place at Red Cross - Cincinnati Chapter on Saturday, March 12.
