Green University

School is in Session! Join Give Back Cincinnati by enrolling in Green University on Saturday, May 10th at Imago Earth Center, an urban nature preserve and education facility sitting on 16 natural acres in Price Hill.

Just five minutes from downtown Cincinnati, volunteers will interact with one another in educational group activities meant to school them on simple, everyday sustainable practices such as green cleaning, composting and indoor gardening.  At the end of the day participants will get to take home a few “green” goodies of their own to put the lessons of the day into practice. Everyone will get a bottle of green cleaner and a micro garden.

Volunteers will “give back” to Imago by planting trees that will add to the nature preserve landscape for years to come.

Bring your boots or tennis shoes and get ready to get your hands dirty! Class is outdoors, so remember your hats, sunglasses and sunscreen. Bagels and coffee will be available at check in. Our social twist this time is unique—we will grill out at Imago and enjoy the tranquil forest setting among friends. In the interest of conservation, volunteers are encouraged to bring their own water bottles. The event will be from 9:30 am to 1 pm.
